Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles as a Tool for the Advancement of Biomedical and Environmental Application: A Review

Recently, a number of studies have been devoted for the exploitation magnetic nanoparticles with potential applications in medicine and environment. Among oxide nanoparticles, iron has emerged as essential tool nanotechnology particularly, biotechnology. This is attributed to its exceptional properties such size, shape, supermagnetism biocompatibility. The nanoparticle less toxic more biocompatible than other metal making it an ideal substrate biosensing, direct drug delivery, catalysis, (CT/MRI) dual-modality, photothermal therapy, immunoassays applications. In this review, various synthetic methods discussed detail. these field hyperthermia MRI also reviewed These enhance mechanical restorative material improve overall bonding between dentin biomaterials, thus affecting bond strength.
